Thespian indoc. week is so much fun! It is a long standing tradition not only at RBV, but for thespians around the world!
-Once you've earned 10 thespian points (if that's confusing, just ask Mr. Scott or another thespian!) you can sign up during a Thursday Bravo Club meeting to be a Squire (new, incoming thespian).
-You can request, or else be assigned, a Sire thespian (someone whose already in the troop).
-Your Sire Thespian will select 3 costumes for you to wear, and with them, catch phrases for you to say, based on a character they've chosen. You'll have a different character each day!
-You'll be given a lil' thespian hat that you will wear inside out for the week.
-You'll bring breakfast for your thespian and wright them a poem that will be read to them on the last day.
-The final ceremony will be held at the end of the week with all the thespians and other indocs present! There you'll turn your hat outside right and pledge to be a lifetime member of the international Thespian Society.
-Finally, you can enjoy your new status as a member of the International Thespian Society! Most importantly, check out the tab on the ITS Festival!
NOTE: Everything is done in good fun! If a task this week makes you uncomfortble, talk to your Sire, another thespian, or Mr. Scott. You are never forced to do anything. Also, you'll be doing this with many of your peers! Everywhere you go on campus you'll see yellow and blue hats and ridiculous costumes- its all fun!
