MARK S. SCOTT

Picture

Mark Scott and his Repertoire

Mr. Scott was a wise drama teacher before his retirement. This blurb doesn't truly show how much of an inspiration this man was. Mark Samuel Scott was a very unique and hilarious drama teacher. After 30 years of “Where are my keys?” Mr. Scott retired from our RBV drama department.

Mark Scott worked for our RBV drama department between 1989-2019. In these 30 years, he inspired thousands upon thousands of kids to do what they love and to work hard. He tackled shows that other high school drama teachers would never even think about doing. There was always absolute magic on our RBV stage when a Mark Scott show was up and running. It is only fitting that our performing arts center has been renamed the "Mark S. Scott Performing Arts Center". The department will continue to do amazing work under his daughter, Mackenzie Scott, but let’s reflect on what Mr. Scott brought to the table during his time here.
