MARK S. SCOTT

Picture

Mark Scott and his Repertoire

This blurb doesn't truly show how much of an inspiration this man is to our community and to RBVHS. Mark Samuel Scott was a very unique and hilarious drama teacher! After 30 years of “Where are my keys?” and almost 100 productions,  Mr. Scott retired from the RBV drama department.

Mark Scott was at the helm of RBV drama from 1989-2019. In these 30 years, he inspired thousands of kids to do what they love while instilling within them the value of hard work and practice. He continues to inspire today. At RBV, he tackled shows that challenged his students and the community to think beyond the surface. It was absolute magic on the RBV stage when a Mark S. Scott show was performing. It's only fitting that the performing arts center was renamed the "Mark S. Scott Performing Arts Center". His impact and legacy live on as the department continues  to create amazing stories under his daughter, Mackenzie Scott.
